MRI Tech – Hospital

Cherokee is hiring a full-time MRI Technician to join our diagnostic imaging department in Holly Springs, Cherokee County. You'll operate advanced imaging equipment and provide essential diagnostic services to patients throughout our hospital facility.

About the Role

As an MRI Technician in this hospital position, you'll operate magnetic resonance imaging technology to generate the precise diagnostic images that help our physicians diagnose and treat patients. This full-time role combines technical expertise with direct patient interaction in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and position patients for MRI scanning procedures, explaining the process and addressing patient questions and concerns
• Operate MRI imaging equipment according to established protocols and safety standards
• Monitor patient well-being and safety throughout scanning procedures
• Maintain imaging quality by adjusting parameters and ensuring proper equipment function
• Coordinate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure accurate diagnostic results
• Keep the imaging suite clean and maintain equipment in proper working order
• Adhere to all safety protocols and facility procedures

What We're Looking For

• MRI Technician certification or eligibility through ARRT or equivalent credentialing body
• Valid state licensure as required for your location
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work compassionately with diverse patients
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with medical professionals
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of image quality and patient care
• Physical capability to assist with patient positioning and stand for extended periods
