About the Role
As an Entry-level Lube Tech/Technician, you'll be at the heart of our operations at Valvoline Instant Oil Change. This full-time position offers hands-on experience in automotive maintenance within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You'll work as part of a supportive team committed to quality service and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Perform efficient oil changes, fluid top-ups, and routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles
- Conduct vehicle inspections to assess fluid levels, filter condition, and maintenance needs
- Communicate clearly with customers about service history and recommended preventive maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety protocols
- Process transactions and manage customer interactions with professionalism and care
- Help customers understand the value of regular maintenance for vehicle longevity and safety
- Assist team members to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently
What We're Looking For
- Genuine willingness to learn and grow in the automotive service industry
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication abilities
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform hands-on work
- Attention to detail with commitment to safety and quality standards
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Availability to work full-time, including retail hours and weekends
- Mechanical aptitude is helpful but not required—comprehensive training is provided
