About the Role

As a Dietary Aide, you'll play a vital role in our food service operation, preparing and serving nutritious, appetizing meals to residents receiving care at our facility. This weekend position runs from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., making it ideal for those seeking flexible, part-time employment in the healthcare field.

What You'll Do

• Prepare meals and snacks according to established recipes, portion sizes, and dietary restrictions
• Serve meals to residents, ensuring proper presentation and appropriate temperature
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation and serving areas
• Assist with dietary documentation and tracking resident food intake when needed
• Communicate with supervisory staff about dietary preferences or resident concerns
• Support the dietary department in general housekeeping and food service duties

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent food service experience
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry items up to 25 pounds
• Strong attention to detail, especially regarding food safety and sanitation
• Compassionate, respectful demeanor when interacting with residents and staff
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, particularly for weekend shifts
• Willingness to follow food service protocols and dietary guidelines
