About the Role
As a Container/Chassis Mechanic Apprentice, you'll work under the guidance of experienced technicians to learn the fundamentals of chassis and container maintenance and repair. This full-time apprenticeship combines structured instruction with practical, on-the-job training in our shop and service facilities. You'll develop expertise in diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues while supporting ConGlobal's logistics operations.
What You'll Do
- Assist in routine maintenance and inspection of containers and chassis units
- Learn to diagnose mechanical and structural issues using proper diagnostic tools and techniques
- Perform repairs and component replacements under the supervision of senior mechanics
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop
- Document all work performed and complete required maintenance records and logs
- Support preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and performance
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Genuine willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on technical profession
- Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to workplace safety
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow technical instruction

Work Schedule
