Join CHSGa at our Cherry Blossom Health & Rehab facility in Macon, Bibb County as a Certified Nursing Assistant in this part-time, PRN position. You'll work for a nonprofit healthcare organization dedicated to delivering excellent patient care while supporting the wellbeing of every team member.
About the Role
In this part-time PRN position, you'll provide hands-on patient care in our Macon health center. Working with nurses and healthcare professionals, you'll ensure patients receive compassionate, dignified, and safe care every day.
What You'll Do
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Help patients move, transfer, and position safely in beds and chairs
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Maintain clean, sanitary patient environments and follow infection control measures
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients during their care
- Document patient observations and communicate findings to the nursing team
- Follow all facility policies and maintain HIPAA compliance
What We're Looking For
- Georgia Certified Nursing Assistant credential required
- Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care delivery
- Compassion and patience when working with patients
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a healthcare team
- Physical capability to assist with patient transfers and lifting
- Flexibility for part-time, PRN shift schedules
- Understanding of and adherence to infection control protocols
