About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position within a medical cleaning environment, meaning you'll work alongside your crew rather than supervising from the sidelines. As the Evening Cleaning Team Lead, you'll keep a healthcare facility running to rigorous cleanliness standards while guiding a small team through their nightly responsibilities. The role is part time with evening hours and is based on-site — no remote or hybrid arrangement.

What You'll Do

• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks directly alongside your team in a medical facility setting
• Lead and oversee a crew of approximately six cleaning technicians during evening shifts
• Onboard and train new team members on proper medical-grade cleaning procedures and safety protocols
• Motivate team members to maintain consistent quality and productivity throughout each shift
• Step in to cover open positions as needed to ensure full service delivery
• Uphold ServiceMaster by Demart's standards for cleanliness, professionalism, and client satisfaction in a healthcare environment

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in commercial, janitorial, or medical facility cleaning preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, or mentor a small team
• Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable working evening hours in a fast-paced medical environment
• Own reliable personal transportation — the work site is located off Route 313 in the Columbus area near Riverside Hospital and is not reliably accessible by public transit
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to meeting healthcare cleanliness standards
• Professional communication skills and a team-first attitude
