About the Role
As an In-Home Caregiver with Rockford, you will deliver personalized, in-home support to clients across the South Beloit area. The position involves a range of shifts and care needs, from companionship and help with everyday tasks to specialized assistance for individuals living with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's disease.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive personal care and companionship that respects each client's dignity and independence.
- Assist clients with daily activities and routines in the comfort of their own homes.
- Support individuals managing memory- and mobility-related conditions, including dementia, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment for those in your care.
- Communicate observations and updates to families and care coordinators as needed.
Qualifications
- A genuine commitment to caring for seniors and individuals who need extra assistance.
- Patience, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills when working one-on-one with clients.
- Willingness to cover a variety of shifts in the Beloit and South Beloit area.
- Comfort supporting clients with specialized care needs, including memory care.
