Construction Employee

Adams Outdoor is hiring a full-time Construction Employee in Norfolk, Norfolk City, to help build and maintain the outdoor advertising structures that keep our displays sharp and our messaging visible across the community.

About the Role

As a Construction Employee with Adams Outdoor in Norfolk, you will install advertising posters and bulletins, keep our physical billboard structures and surrounding grounds in excellent condition, and support the upkeep of our growing portfolio of digital assets. This is a hands-on, on-site position ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and is comfortable working safely at significant heights.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and refresh advertising posters and bulletins on outdoor structures.
• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to billboard structures and the surrounding property.
• Perform required work on digital display assets to keep them operating reliably.
• Safely climb fixed, portable, and extension ladders to heights of up to 125 feet, multiple times as the job demands.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on-site.

Qualifications

• Ability to climb fixed, portable, and extension ladders without restriction, reaching heights up to 125 feet repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Comfort and confidence performing physical tasks outdoors and at elevation.
• A strong, safety-first mindset and attention to detail.
• Reliability and a willingness to handle the full range of installation and maintenance duties.
