J.E. Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Traveling General Superintendent (Mega Projects) for its Advanced Facilities Group, based out of Fort Leonard Wood, Pulaski County. This is a full-time, travel-intensive leadership position for a seasoned construction professional ready to direct large-scale, complex builds.

About the Role

As a Traveling General Superintendent within the Advanced Facilities Group, you will lead field operations on some of J.E. Dunn Construction Company's largest and most technically demanding mega projects. The role requires significant travel and the ability to relocate to active job sites, anchored in the Fort Leonard Wood, Pulaski County area. You will set the standard for safety, quality, and on-time delivery across every phase of construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on field leadership for mega-scale advanced facilities projects from mobilization through closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trade partners, and craft labor to keep work sequenced, safe, and on schedule.
• Enforce site safety programs and uphold strict quality-control standards across all work in place.
• Partner with project management to track budgets, schedules, and milestones, resolving field issues proactively.
• Travel to and relocate as needed for project assignments across multiple regions.
• Mentor and develop on-site superintendents and field staff.

Qualifications

• Extensive superintendent-level experience leading large, complex commercial or advanced facilities construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage field operations, schedules, and multiple trades simultaneously.
• Strong command of construction safety, quality, and means-and-methods best practices.
• Willingness to travel extensively and relocate to job sites as projects require.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced field environment.
