Phillips Edison & Company is hiring a full-time Real Estate Development Analyst (Grocery/Retail Focus) in Cincinnati, to help drive the growth of grocery-anchored shopping centers across the country.
About the Role
As a Real Estate Development Analyst at Phillips Edison & Company in Cincinnati, you will partner closely with the AVP of Development & Redevelopment, supporting the evaluation and pursuit of new grocery development projects and redevelopment opportunities. This is a hands-on analytical position ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of real estate transactions, finance, and market research.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the AVP of Development & Redevelopment in sourcing and advancing potential grocery-focused development and redevelopment deals.
- Contribute to real estate transactions, underwriting, and financial analysis throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Conduct market and site research to inform investment and development decisions.
- Prepare, organize, and refine presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain an information database to track, monitor, and manage grocery development opportunities.
- Take on a range of special projects and ad hoc assignments as the pipeline evolves.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with an interest in commercial real estate, retail, and grocery-anchored properties.
- Familiarity with real estate finance, transaction processes, and underwriting concepts.
- Solid research capabilities and attention to detail when managing data and documentation.
- Proficiency in building polished presentations and maintaining organized databases.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
