Federal Work Study – Interior Design

About the Role

This Federal Work Study – Interior Design position at Athens Technical College places you within the Financial Aid department on the Athens campus, reporting to Financial Aid Coordinator Shirley Moon. It is an on-site (non-remote) role designed for students who qualify for federal work study and want to apply interior design and architectural drafting skills in a real working environment. Compensation is $10.00 per hour, with a maximum schedule of 19.5 hours per week. Please note that State of Georgia benefits are not included with this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Use architectural drafting software to assist with interior design and drafting tasks.
• Support the day-to-day work of the Financial Aid department on the Athens campus.
• Apply at least one year of hands-on experience with drafting tools to projects as assigned.
• Coordinate with the Financial Aid Coordinator on priorities and deliverables.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year working with architectural drafting software.
• Eligibility for the Federal Work Study program.
• Availability to work on the Athens, Clarke County campus (this is not a remote role).
• Ability to keep within a maximum 19.5-hour work week.
