About the Role
As the Starbucks/Assistant Department Leader, you'll partner with the coffee shop lead and department manager to keep the Reno location running smoothly. This full-time, on-site position blends hands-on customer service with day-to-day operational support, helping the team hit its sales, profit, and quality targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a memorable customer experience built on warm, attentive service that keeps guests coming back.
- Support the coffee shop lead and department manager in reaching the department's sales and profit objectives.
- Keep the coffee shop safe, clean, and welcoming throughout every shift.
- Uphold and monitor the established quality assurance standards on every beverage and product served.
- Collaborate closely with the coffee shop team and wider store associates to keep operations on track.
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating positive guest interactions.
- The ability to support team and department leaders in meeting performance and quality goals.
- Attention to detail when maintaining cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance standards.
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to pitch in wherever the coffee shop needs support.
- Availability for a full-time, on-site schedule in Reno, Washoe County.
