About the Role
As the General Manager of this McDonald's restaurant in Carencro, Lafayette Parish, you will own the day-to-day success of a busy, fast-paced location. This is a hands-on, on-site leadership position responsible for guest satisfaction, team development, and profitable operations. Please note this opportunity is with an independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct all aspects of daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shifts and consistent service.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate crew members and shift leaders to build a high-performing team.
- Uphold McDonald's standards for food quality, cleanliness, and safety on every shift.
- Deliver an outstanding guest experience and resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Manage budgets, inventory, labor, and cost controls to meet financial targets.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership or management experience, ideally within restaurant, retail, or food service.
- Strong people-management skills with the ability to coach and develop a team.
- Solid understanding of operational and financial fundamentals such as scheduling, inventory, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Availability to work a flexible, full-time schedule on-site in Carencro, Lafayette Parish.

This position is offered by an independent franchisee who owns and operates this McDonald's restaurant under a license to use McDonald's branding and products. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from McDonald's USA. If hired, you will be employed by the franchisee, who sets its own employment terms and policies.
