About the Role
As a Journeyman Electrician based in Bensenville, you'll bring your licensed expertise to a wide range of lighting, electrical, energy, and technology projects throughout the greater Chicago area. This is a hands-on, full-time position for a skilled tradesperson who values quality craftsmanship and reliable service on every job.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and lighting in commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, and technical drawings
- Perform work in line with the National Electrical Code and all applicable local and state regulations
- Support energy and technology installations that improve efficiency and performance for customers
- Maintain a safe, organized worksite and follow established safety procedures at all times
- Deliver consistent, high-quality service that reflects the company's standards
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license
- Proven experience in commercial electrical and lighting work
- Solid knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to dependable results
- Able to work full-time on-site in and around Bensenville and the Chicago area
