Ryder System is seeking a motivated Operations Coordinator IV to join its Dedicated Transportation team at our Niagara Falls, NY facility — a night-shift opportunity with one of the most recognized names in North American logistics.
About the Role
This full-time, on-site position is based in Niagara Falls, New York (14304) and operates on a rotating night schedule: Thursday through Saturday plus every other Wednesday, 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM. As an Operations Coordinator IV within Ryder's Dedicated Transportation division, you will play a central role in keeping freight and fleet operations running smoothly during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee dedicated transportation operations throughout the overnight shift
- Serve as a primary point of contact for drivers, dispatchers, and internal stakeholders during shift hours
- Monitor load execution, route progress, and on-time delivery performance
- Identify and resolve operational disruptions in real time to maintain service levels
- Maintain accurate records and communicate shift updates to oncoming team members
Qualifications
- Prior experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain coordination preferred
- Ability to work a consistent overnight schedule including weekends (Thursday–Saturday nights and alternating Wednesdays)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional coordination
- Comfort working on-site at the Niagara Falls, NY location — this role is not remote
