As a Search Consultant at Gpac's Cedar Rapids location, you'll join a team of talent professionals dedicated to connecting exceptional candidates with the right organizations. Gpac has spent more than three decades refining a proven search model, and this role puts you at the center of it — working both sides of the market to solve real hiring challenges for clients while opening doors for talented professionals.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and develop new client relationships across targeted industries, positioning Gpac as a trusted talent partner
• Source, screen, and qualify candidates through calls, referrals, and direct outreach
• Manage the full recruitment cycle from intake through offer and placement
• Consult with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team culture, and competitive positioning
• Build and maintain a pipeline of active candidates and client accounts
• Represent Gpac's standard of service by delivering timely, honest, and thorough communication to all parties
• Consistently work toward individual placement goals within a performance-driven environment

• Strong verbal and written communication skills — you'll spend significant time on the phone and in written correspondence
• Resilience and a competitive mindset; this role rewards persistence and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple client and candidate relationships simultaneously without dropping the ball
• Prior experience in sales, staffing, business development, or a client-facing role is a plus, though motivated newcomers are considered for training
• Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture
