Principal EP Mapping Specialist – CAS

Medtronic is hiring a full-time Principal EP Mapping Specialist – Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) based in Tucson, Pima County, AZ — a senior clinical field role at the intersection of electrophysiology expertise and cutting-edge mapping technology.

About the Role

As a Principal EP Mapping Specialist on Medtronic's Cardiac Ablation Solutions team in Tucson, you will serve as the primary clinical and technical resource for electrophysiologists and EP lab teams. This is an in-lab, patient-adjacent position where your mapping expertise directly supports life-changing cardiac ablation procedures. At the principal level, you will also guide peers, shape best practices, and help elevate the standard of clinical support across your region.

What You'll Do

• Provide hands-on technical support during EP ablation procedures, operating and troubleshooting cardiac mapping systems in real time
• Partner with electrophysiologists and EP lab staff to optimize mapping workflows and procedural outcomes
• Deliver in-depth product training and clinical education to physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
• Serve as a senior point of contact for complex mapping cases, offering solutions that reflect deep product and clinical knowledge
• Mentor and support junior EP Mapping Specialists within the CAS field organization
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key EP accounts in the Tucson and Pima County territory
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, clinical affairs, and marketing to communicate field insights and support account strategy
• Maintain accurate case documentation and adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical, life sciences, or related field; advanced credentials (RN, RCES, RCIS, or equivalent) strongly preferred
• Substantial hands-on experience in cardiac electrophysiology, including direct EP lab or mapping system support
• Demonstrated proficiency with 3D cardiac mapping platforms used in ablation procedures
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical and clinical concepts clearly to diverse medical audiences
• Proven track record of building consultative relationships with electrophysiologists and lab leadership
• Willingness to maintain a field-based schedule in and around Tucson, AZ, with travel as procedures require
• Principal-level candidates should bring mentorship experience or a history of leading clinical initiatives within a field team
