About the Role

This DoD SkillBridge position gives eligible service members hands-on exposure to the day-to-day operations of one of the nation's leading building products distributors. Participants work under direct supervision, rotating through business functions and project assignments that build industry-specific knowledge and translate military discipline into marketable civilian skills.

What You'll Do

• Support departmental teams with a variety of operational and administrative projects
• Learn company workflows, systems, and processes through active participation in daily business activities
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple functional areas to gain broad organizational exposure
• Apply structured problem-solving and mission-focused habits developed in the military to real business challenges
• Complete assignments and report progress to supervisors in a professional, civilian workplace environment

What We're Looking For

• Currently serving active-duty U.S. military member within the final 180 days of your service contract
• Commanding officer approval to participate in a DoD SkillBridge program
• Strong work ethic, adaptability, and a desire to grow within a civilian career
• Ability to work on-site full time at the Davenport, Scott County location
• Effective communication and teamwork skills developed through military service
