LanceSoft is placing a Local Contract CT Technologist at Altru Hospital in Devils Lake, North Dakota — a full-time, 13-week engagement paying $75–$76 per hour for credentialed imaging professionals ready to make an immediate local impact.

About the Role

This local contract CT Technologist position is based on-site at Altru Hospital's Devils Lake imaging department, scheduled for a July 20, 2026 start. You'll work 40 hours per week on 8-hour shifts as a core member of the Allied Health team, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging to patients across Ramsey County and the surrounding region.

What You'll Do

  • Operate CT scanning equipment to produce diagnostic-quality cross-sectional images according to physician orders
  • Position patients accurately and safely to ensure optimal image capture while minimizing radiation exposure
  • Prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with facility protocols and patient safety standards
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and escalate concerns to the supervising radiologist
  • Maintain thorough documentation of procedures, patient responses, and equipment performance
  • Uphold radiation safety regulations and ALARA principles throughout every scan
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and clinical staff to coordinate patient workflow

What We're Looking For

  • Active ARRT certification with a CT-specific credential (CT or R, CT)
  • Current North Dakota state licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Hands-on experience operating multi-slice CT equipment in an acute-care or hospital setting
  • Proficiency with contrast injection protocols, including power injector operation
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Strong patient communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under time pressure
  • Ability to fulfill a full-time, on-site commitment for the complete 13-week contract duration
