GardaWorld is hiring a full-time Strategic Account Manager based in San Jose, Santa Clara County — a senior-level opportunity to own and grow a portfolio of high-value security accounts while serving as the primary liaison between clients and one of North America's largest privately held security firms.
About the Role
As a Strategic Account Manager at GardaWorld's San Jose location, you will be accountable for the health, retention, and expansion of a defined book of enterprise accounts. You'll translate client goals into executable security programs, coordinate with field operations to uphold service standards, and function as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders at every level of your client organizations.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the single point of accountability for assigned enterprise and mid-market accounts across Santa Clara County and surrounding areas
- Develop and execute tailored account plans that align security solutions with each client's evolving operational needs
- Conduct structured business reviews with client leadership, presenting performance metrics, trend analysis, and continuous-improvement recommendations
- Collaborate with operations, scheduling, and compliance teams to ensure contract requirements are consistently met or exceeded
- Identify and advance opportunities to expand service scope, acting as a strategic growth driver within existing accounts
- Manage contract renewals and negotiate terms that reflect both client value and GardaWorld's service standards
- Resolve escalated service issues with urgency, professionalism, and a focus on long-term relationship preservation
- Maintain accurate account records, pipeline data, and activity logs within the CRM platform
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record in account management, client success, or business development — experience in security services, facilities management, or a related field is a strong advantage
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-site accounts and navigate relationships with senior client stakeholders
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and written communication skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data and translate findings into actionable strategies
- Self-directed work style with the organizational discipline to manage competing priorities across a diverse account portfolio
- Proficiency with CRM tools and standard business productivity software
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered
