About the Role

As Area Sales Manager with Caring Transitions in Reno, you will own business development within a defined geographic territory, building a referral network that sustains and grows franchise revenue. This is a relationship-first sales position suited to someone who thrives on community engagement, earns partner trust through consistent follow-through, and converts warm introductions into loyal clients.

What You'll Do

• Prospect, engage, and develop referral partnerships with senior living communities, real estate professionals, estate attorneys, financial advisors, and healthcare providers throughout the Reno and Washoe County area
• Generate and manage a qualified lead pipeline within your assigned territory
• Meet and surpass monthly and quarterly sales and revenue benchmarks established by franchise leadership
• Maintain consistent outreach cadences via phone, in-person visits, and community events
• Track referral activity, lead status, and territory metrics in CRM tools
• Represent the Caring Transitions brand at local networking events, senior expos, and professional associations
• Coordinate closely with the operations team to ensure smooth transitions from initial contact to service delivery

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated success in outside sales, territory management, or business development
• Strong verbal communication skills and the confidence to engage referral partners both by phone and face-to-face
• Self-starter who can manage a full territory pipeline without close day-to-day supervision
• Natural ability to build rapport with diverse audiences, including seniors, families, and professional referrers
• Familiarity with the Reno/Washoe County professional landscape is a distinct advantage
• Background in senior services, healthcare, real estate, or a related industry is a plus
• Working proficiency with CRM platforms and basic sales reporting
