Energizer Holdings is seeking a Sr. National Account Manager to join its commercial team at its Westwood, Saint Louis County location — a full-time role for a driven sales professional ready to own high-value retail partnerships and help power one of the world's most recognized consumer brands.
About the Role
As a Senior National Account Manager at Energizer Holdings, you'll be responsible for driving revenue growth and deepening strategic relationships with major national retail accounts. You'll serve as the primary commercial point of contact for your assigned customers, balancing short-term performance with long-term partnership development — all from Energizer's home base in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end management of assigned national retail accounts, including planning, execution, and performance review cycles
- Develop and present joint business plans that align customer objectives with Energizer's growth priorities
- Negotiate pricing, shelf placement, promotional programs, and contract terms with senior buyer contacts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to deliver against account commitments
- Analyze syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI/Circana) and internal sales metrics to identify opportunities and course-correct as needed
- Manage trade spend budgets efficiently, ensuring promotional investments drive measurable ROI
- Represent Energizer's portfolio — spanning batteries, auto care, and beyond — with credibility and category expertise
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience managing national retail accounts in a consumer packaged goods environment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within complex, multi-stakeholder accounts
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior retail buyers
- Comfort working with syndicated market data and translating insights into actionable selling stories
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels
