PACE Supply is hiring a full-time Finish Plumbing Estimator to join its Finish Division in Stockton, CA — a career opportunity with one of the West Coast's most established employee-owned wholesale distributors of plumbing, finish, HVAC, and related products.

About the Role

As a Finish Plumbing Estimator at PACE Supply's Stockton location, you will be the driving force behind accurate, competitive pricing for finish plumbing scopes across residential and commercial construction projects. Working within the Finish Division, you'll collaborate closely with contractors, project managers, and internal sales teams to deliver timely bids that win business and support project success in San Joaquin County and the surrounding region.

What You'll Do

• Prepare detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for finish plumbing installations, including fixtures, trim, and associated hardware
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project scopes to develop complete and competitive bid packages
• Coordinate with contractors and builders to clarify scope, substitutions, and value-engineering opportunities
• Track submitted bids, follow up on open quotes, and convert estimates into confirmed orders
• Partner with the Finish Division sales team to identify new project opportunities and strengthen customer relationships
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, manufacturer pricing, and market conditions to ensure bid accuracy
• Support project hand-offs by communicating estimate details to inside sales and procurement teams

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in plumbing estimating, finish plumbing sales, or a closely related role in the wholesale distribution or construction industry
• Solid understanding of finish plumbing products — fixtures, faucets, trim kits, and related components
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency with estimating software or the ability to quickly learn industry-standard tools
• Effective communicator who can build trust with contractors, builders, and internal stakeholders
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple active bids simultaneously
