Faith Technologies is hiring a full-time Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Lead based in Appleton, Outagamie County — a senior technical leadership position at the forefront of electrical construction, engineering, manufacturing, and renewable energy.
About the Role
In this role, you will direct the manufacturing engineering function that underpins Faith Technologies' ability to design and deliver innovative energy solutions at scale. You'll combine deep technical expertise with hands-on team leadership to elevate process quality, accelerate production capability, and bridge the gap between engineering concepts and real-world fabrication outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers, establishing technical standards and driving a continuous-improvement mindset
- Design, analyze, and refine manufacturing processes to maximize quality, efficiency, and repeatability across production operations
- Apply lean manufacturing principles and structured problem-solving methodologies to eliminate waste and reduce cycle times
- Manage capital equipment projects end-to-end — from requirements and vendor selection through installation, validation, and handoff
- Collaborate with design and product engineering early in development to embed manufacturability into new offerings
- Author and maintain engineering documentation including work instructions, process specifications, and manufacturing standards
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions that address systemic issues
- Guide new product introductions by ensuring production readiness before launch
- Identify opportunities for automation, advanced tooling, and emerging manufacturing technologies that strengthen competitive capability
- Partner across operations, quality, supply chain, and project management to meet shared business goals
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Substantial experience in manufacturing engineering, including demonstrated team lead or senior individual contributor responsibilities
- Track record of optimizing production processes and delivering measurable improvements in quality, throughput, or cost
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or comparable continuous improvement frameworks
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute across multiple simultaneous initiatives
- Experience in electrical, construction, energy, or related industrial manufacturing environments is advantageous
- Clear communicator who can translate technical details for diverse audiences across engineering and operations
