About the Role
As a CDL A Delivery Driver based in San Margherita, Franklin County, you will join the Sysco Transportation & Logistics team and serve as the dependable link between our distribution operations and the customers who count on us. Operating a CDL A vehicle, you'll transport food products to a wide range of clients, including restaurants, hospitals and healthcare facilities, schools, and hospitality venues, ensuring every order arrives accurately and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL A vehicle to deliver food products throughout the San Margherita and Franklin County service area.
- Carry out thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to confirm road readiness and safety.
- Handle the loading and unloading of product, verifying counts and order accuracy at each stop.
- Maintain on-time, complete deliveries while building positive relationships with customers.
- Follow all DOT regulations and Sysco safety standards on every route.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A driver's license in good standing.
- Commitment to safe driving practices and compliance with DOT requirements.
- Comfort with the physical demands of loading, unloading, and multi-stop delivery work.
