About the Role

As a Hydro-Vac Operator with The Zemba Companies, you will be entrusted with company-owned assets — including truck-mounted hydrovac equipment — to carry out hydrovac and hydro-jet projects from start to finish. This Zanesville-based, on-site position is ideal for a dependable, safety-minded operator who takes pride in completing each job efficiently while protecting both the equipment and the worksite.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company hydrovac and hydro-jet equipment to complete excavation and cleaning projects safely and on schedule.
• Serve residential and commercial clients with professional, results-driven work.
• Perform thorough pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections, documenting condition and reporting any issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area throughout each project.
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable transportation regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required; Class A CDL with no restrictions strongly preferred.
• Commitment to safe operation of heavy equipment and company vehicles.
• Reliable, detail-oriented approach to daily inspections and project completion.
• Willingness to work on-site in Zanesville, Muskingum County (this is not a remote role).
