Engineer III, Customer Quality

Chamberlain Group is hiring an Engineer III, Customer Quality to join our team in Oak Brook, DuPage County, in a full-time, on-site capacity. In this role, you will champion the voice of the customer and drive measurable improvements in product quality across our intelligent access portfolio.

About the Role

As an Engineer III, Customer Quality at Chamberlain Group, you will serve as the bridge between customer experience and engineering excellence. Based at our Oak Brook headquarters, you will investigate field issues, analyze quality data, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that products powered by our myQ technology meet the high standards homeowners, businesses, and communities expect.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the customer perspective within engineering and quality decision-making.
• Investigate, root-cause, and resolve product quality issues reported from the field.
• Analyze warranty, return, and customer feedback data to identify recurring trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supplier teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and track quality metrics that reflect real-world product performance and reliability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen customer satisfaction and brand trust.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in customer quality, product quality, or reliability engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause investigation methods.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Comfort working on-site at our Oak Brook, DuPage County location.
