Full Time Groom – CT/Wellington

Equestrian Concierge is hiring a Full Time Groom to support a premier show jumping program that follows the sun — wintering in Wellington, Palm Beach County, Florida, and summering in Greenwich, Connecticut.

About the Role

This is a full-time, year-round grooming position with a high-caliber show jumping barn that values dedication, horsemanship, and longevity. The farm splits its season between two of the most competitive equestrian markets on the East Coast, offering a candidate the experience of competing and caring for horses at the top level of the sport. The ideal hire is someone looking to build a lasting career in equine care — not just fill a seasonal slot.

What You'll Do

• Provide daily hands-on care for show jumpers, including feeding, watering, turnout, and stall maintenance
• Tack up, cool down, and bathe horses before and after training and competition
• Monitor each horse's health, condition, and behavior and report concerns promptly
• Travel with the program between Wellington, FL and Greenwich, CT on a seasonal schedule
• Assist with braiding, wrapping, and show-day preparation at competitions
• Maintain a clean, organized barn environment and properly care for tack and equipment
• Work alongside trainers and riders to support the team's competitive goals

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for horses and the equestrian lifestyle — this is the most important qualification
• Prior grooming or barn experience, ideally in a show jumping or competitive hunter/jumper environment
• FEI-level grooming experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to work full time, including weekends and competition days
• Willingness and eligibility to travel and work legally in the United States
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a team-first attitude
• Commitment to a long-term role — the farm is looking for someone who wants to grow with the program
