About the Role
As a Full-Service Shopper with Instacart in Rockwood, you'll handle the entire order process from start to finish: picking items off store shelves and delivering them straight to customers' doors. What You'll Do
- Accept and review customer grocery orders through the Instacart Shopper app
- Shop in local stores, carefully selecting fresh produce, packaged goods, and other items to match the order
- Make smart substitution choices and communicate with customers in real time when an item is unavailable
- Check out using the Instacart-provided payment card
- Drive to the customer's address and complete contactless or in-person drop-offs
- Maintain accuracy and care throughout each order to deliver a great experience
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid U.S. driver's license and consistent access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- An iPhone or Android smartphone capable of running the Instacart Shopper app
- Ability to move through a store efficiently and carry grocery bags weighing up to 40 lbs
- Strong attention to detail when selecting and verifying order items
- Good communication skills for handling customer messages and substitution requests
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the Rockwood, Roane County area
