Plant Operator

Amrize is hiring a full-time Plant Operator at its facility in Garden, Weld County, Colorado — a hands-on production role supporting the infrastructure and building materials that shape communities across North America.

About the Role

As a Plant Operator with Amrize in Weld County, you'll keep critical production equipment running safely and efficiently. This is an hourly, full-time position with an estimated pay range of $23.00–$32.00 per hour, reflecting the skill and reliability this role demands.

What You'll Do

• Operate and monitor plant machinery and processing equipment throughout each production shift
• Perform startup, shutdown, and changeover procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment wear, leaks, or irregularities and escalate issues promptly
• Collect and log production data, material quantities, and quality readings accurately
• Carry out basic preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
• Follow all site safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements — including MSHA or OSHA standards as applicable
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to meet daily output targets
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience operating heavy industrial or processing plant equipment preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort troubleshooting equipment in a production environment
• Ability to read gauges, interpret operational data, and adjust processes accordingly
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to environmental standards
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work various shifts as production needs require
• Physical capability to lift, stand, and work outdoors in varying Colorado weather conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus
