ACI Jet is hiring a full-time Quality Lead Inspector – Part 145 to safeguard the integrity of aircraft maintenance and inspection work at our San Luis Obispo (KSBP) facility. About the Role

As the Quality Lead Inspector under Part 145, you will partner closely with the Quality Manager to keep ACI Jet's inspection and maintenance activities aligned with the strictest standards of airworthiness and regulatory compliance. The position carries day-to-day responsibility for quality control processes both inside the San Luis Obispo hangar and out in the field, making it ideal for a hands-on professional who leads by example.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate quality control activities across maintenance and inspection operations at the KSBP facility and at remote field locations.
• Verify that all aircraft work meets applicable Part 145 standards, compliance requirements, and ACI Jet's internal quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate directly with the Quality Manager to refine inspection procedures and uphold a culture of accuracy and accountability.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to maintenance personnel throughout the inspection process.
• Document findings and support continuous improvement of quality assurance practices.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical expertise in aircraft maintenance and inspection within a Part 145 repair station environment.
• Proven leadership ability, with the confidence to direct and mentor a team.
• Strong working knowledge of aviation quality control standards and regulatory compliance.
• A consistent commitment to precision, safety, and maintaining the highest quality outcomes.
• Availability to work on-site in San Luis Obispo, with willingness to support field operations as needed.
