About the Role
As an LPN Unit Coordinator, you will help direct the day-to-day clinical rhythm of the unit, blending hands-on nursing know-how with practical leadership. This opportunity suits a licensed practical nurse who thrives on organizing care delivery, guiding colleagues, and keeping resident outcomes consistently high. The position is based on-site in North Tonawanda and follows the overnight 11 PM to 7 AM shift on weekdays.
- Pay range of $30–$33 per hour, plus a $3 shift differential for overnight hours
- Sign-on bonus of up to $3,000 for qualified candidates
- Full-time, weekday overnight schedule (11 PM–7 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the daily clinical operations of the assigned unit
- Provide steady leadership and direction to nursing and support staff during the shift
- Champion safe, high-quality care that promotes positive resident outcomes
- Organize the flow of care to keep the unit running smoothly and efficiently
- Mentor and assist team members, fostering a collaborative work environment
Qualifications
- Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
- Demonstrated nursing experience, ideally within a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
- Strong coordination, communication, and team-leadership abilities
- Commitment to resident-centered, quality care
- Availability to work the full-time overnight weekday schedule on-site in North Tonawanda
