About the Role

As a Field Tech with Pace Drivers, you will spend your days in the field maintaining and servicing utility infrastructure across the Greer area. This position pays $22.00 per hour and follows a standard Monday-through-Friday schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn matter far more than experience, since we will train you on every aspect of the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor utility meters and exposed piping for signs of atmospheric corrosion
• Attach endpoints to meters and collect the associated data readings
• Record and document any faults or irregularities found with each meter
• Remove aging gas meters and install replacement units
• Contribute to on-site troubleshooting and help resolve technical issues as they arise
