About the Role
As a Sourcing Executive specializing in PeriOp/PPI at Vizient, you will lead category strategy and supplier engagement across some of the most clinically complex and cost-sensitive areas of healthcare spend. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for perioperative and physician preference item categories.
- Cultivate and manage strong supplier partnerships to secure competitive terms and reliable supply.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and utilization data to uncover savings and value opportunities.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to align sourcing decisions with quality and care goals.
- Lead contract negotiations and oversee agreements through their full lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Background in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management, preferably within healthcare or PeriOp/PPI categories.
- Proven negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical capabilities and comfort working with sourcing and spend data.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner effectively across teams.
- Availability to work full-time on-site in Worcester, Worcester County.
