Northern Ohio Field Services (NOFS) is hiring a full-time Mortgage Inspector in Bellefontaine, Logan County, Ohio, to verify the status of residential properties across the surrounding area. About the Role

As a Mortgage Inspector with NOFS, your primary focus is visiting residential addresses throughout Logan County to confirm occupancy status on behalf of lenders and servicers. This is an independent, field-based position: you will manage your own routes, work without day-to-day supervision, and report accurate findings back to the company. The position is structured as a contractor (Other) arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned residential properties in Bellefontaine and the wider Logan County region to perform occupancy inspections.
• Determine and document whether each property is occupied, vacant, or shows other relevant conditions.
• Capture clear, accurate observations and submit timely, well-organized reports.
• Plan efficient daily routes and complete assignments independently, without on-site oversight.
• Maintain professional, courteous conduct when encountering occupants or neighbors.

Qualifications

• Prior, hands-on experience as a Mortgage Inspector or in a comparable field-inspection role.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage your own schedule, and meet deadlines without direct supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable record-keeping skills.
• Comfortable performing local travel to multiple properties throughout Logan County.
• Based in or able to reliably cover the Bellefontaine, Ohio area (this is an on-site, in-the-field position, not remote).
