About the Role
As a VAS Associate at CBRE in Winooski, Chittenden County, you will produce market value appraisals on real estate properties while operating with a high degree of independence. Working under the guidance of a Senior Appraiser or Manager, you'll receive ongoing training and mentorship designed to sharpen your valuation expertise and advance your professional development. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop market value appraisal reports for real estate assets with limited supervision.
- Input and maintain accurate property information within the appraisal database.
- Capture photographs of subject properties and comparable sites.
- Travel through and assess surrounding neighborhoods to inform valuations.
- Verify property data and engage in discussions to confirm key details with relevant parties.
- Collaborate closely with senior team members to refine reports and methodology.
Qualifications
- Interest in building a career in real estate valuation and appraisal.
- Strong attention to detail when handling property data and documentation.
- Comfort working both in the field and at a desk to complete assignments.
- Ability to manage tasks with minimal direction once trained.
- Willingness to learn from and work alongside experienced appraisal professionals.
- Reliable means of traveling to subject and comparable properties in the region.
