About the Role

As a Citibus Transit Driver with the City of Davenport, you will operate a city bus along regularly scheduled routes under general supervision. No prior commercial driving experience is required to apply — paid on-the-job training is provided to help you earn a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements. This part-time position is based in Davenport, Iowa (Scott County) and is not a remote role. Starting pay is $21.20 per hour, increasing to $24.23 per hour after six months.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a transit bus safely and on time along assigned, recurring routes throughout the City of Davenport.
• Provide courteous, helpful service to passengers boarding and exiting the vehicle.
• Perform visual pre-trip inspections of the bus and promptly report any mechanical concerns.
