Porter/Groundskeeper – Multifamily

Sunridge Management is hiring a full-time Porter/Groundskeeper for our multifamily community in Houma, Terrebonne Parish — an on-site role for someone who takes pride in keeping a property clean, safe, and welcoming.

About the Role

As a Porter/Groundskeeper – Multifamily with Sunridge Management in Houma, Terrebonne Parish, you'll be the daily steward of our apartment community's grounds and common areas. This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to the Lead Maintenance Technician and Property Manager, with weekend availability needed from time to time. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered to new hires.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of grounds, walkways, parking areas, and shared community spaces
• Remove trash and debris, manage litter, and keep waste areas tidy and presentable
• Support landscaping upkeep, including general grounds care across the property
• Assist the maintenance team with light upkeep tasks and turn-related work as directed
• Help ensure the community stays safe, orderly, and inviting for residents and visitors
• Communicate property needs and concerns to the Lead Maintenance Technician and Property Manager

Qualifications

• Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working outdoors in an on-site setting
• Able to handle physical, hands-on work and stay on your feet throughout the shift
• Willing to work weekends when needed to keep the community in top shape
• A team player who can take direction and support maintenance staff
• Committed to delivering a clean, well-kept environment for residents
