CNA/NA/PCA – Grottoes

About the Role

As a CNA/NA/PCA with AmeriCare Plus in Grottoes, you'll visit clients in their own homes and provide hands-on assistance with the daily tasks that keep them healthy, independent, and well cared for. This is meaningful, relationship-centered work where reliability and kindness matter as much as clinical skill.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
• Support personal hygiene and toileting needs with patience and respect
• Help with light household tasks, meal preparation, and feeding as needed
• Monitor each client's general condition and report any changes to the care team
• Build trusting, dependable relationships with clients and their families
• Follow individualized care plans and adhere to all safety and care standards

Qualifications

• Active certification or training as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Nursing Assistant (NA), or Personal Care Aide (PCA)
• A genuine commitment to compassionate, person-centered caregiving
• Dependability, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude
• Ability to travel to client homes within the Grottoes and Rockingham County area
• Comfortable working independently in a one-on-one home setting
