About the Role
As a Completions Engineer based at our Morgantown, West Virginia headquarters, you will play a central part in planning, executing, and optimizing completion operations for oil and gas wells throughout our growing footprint in Ohio and Pennsylvania. This is a hands-on, full-time position that blends engineering rigor with operational excellence, working closely with field teams and cross-functional partners to deliver results responsibly.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and oversee well completion programs aligned with company objectives and Appalachian Basin geology.
- Coordinate hydraulic fracturing, perforating, and stimulation activities to maximize well performance and recovery.
- Monitor completion operations in the field, troubleshooting issues and adjusting procedures to improve efficiency.
- Partner with drilling, production, and geology teams to ensure seamless well delivery from spud to first production.
- Champion environmental stewardship, safety standards, and regulatory compliance throughout every phase of work.
- Analyze completion data and post-job results to refine future designs and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Background in petroleum, mechanical, or related engineering, with experience in well completions preferred.
- Working knowledge of completion techniques, hydraulic fracturing, and unconventional reservoir development.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills for a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work on-site in Morgantown and travel to field locations across Ohio and Pennsylvania as needed.
