About the Role
This Revenue Manager position is a full-time, hybrid role based in Boston, Suffolk County, with three days each week spent on-site. Joining the client's finance team, you'll serve as a trusted voice on revenue matters — guiding accounting practices, advising on commercial agreements, and helping refine the policies that keep the business running smoothly and growing responsibly.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee revenue recognition activities and ensure accounting treatment aligns with applicable standards.
- Provide guidance on contracts and individual deals, partnering with stakeholders to interpret terms and assess financial impact.
- Manage the monthly and quarterly close process for revenue, delivering accurate and timely results.
- Contribute to the development of operational and strategic financial policies that support the firm's objectives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in revenue recognition and accounting within a corporate finance environment.
- Strong working knowledge of contract review and deal structuring from a financial perspective.
- Proven ability to own period-end close cycles and meet reporting deadlines.
- Analytical mindset suited to shaping policy and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Comfortable working on-site in Boston three days per week under a hybrid schedule.
