OhioHealth is seeking a skilled Peripheral Vascular Tech, Grant, Part-Time Casual to join our diagnostic imaging team in the United States, where your expertise helps patients understand and improve their vascular health.
About the Role
As a Peripheral Vascular Tech at OhioHealth's Grant location, you will perform non-invasive vascular studies that support accurate diagnosis and patient care. This is an on-site, part-time casual position based in the US, ideal for a registered or registry-eligible professional who values flexible scheduling while delivering high-quality imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct non-invasive peripheral vascular examinations using ultrasound and related diagnostic equipment.
- Capture and document clear, accurate images to assist physicians in evaluation and treatment planning.
- Prepare and position patients comfortably, explaining each step of the procedure to ease concerns.
- Maintain equipment readiness and adhere to established safety, quality, and infection-control standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support timely, coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited vascular technology or sonography program, or equivalent training.
- Current or registry-eligible credentialing as a vascular technologist (such as RVT) preferred.
- Working knowledge of peripheral vascular anatomy and non-invasive testing protocols.
- Strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and a patient-centered approach.
- Availability to work on a part-time casual basis at the Grant site in the US.
