About the Role
As the Detail Manager at Morgantown Toyota Mitsubishi, you will oversee every aspect of our reconditioning and detailing department in Morgantown, Monongalia County. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for delivering consistently flawless presentation across new and pre-owned inventory while keeping the team organized, efficient, and accountable. Compensation is determined by your qualifications and relevant work history.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily detailing operations, including interior cleaning, exterior wash, polishing, and final inspection of vehicles.
- Lead, schedule, and develop the detail team to meet quality and turnaround expectations.
- Ensure every vehicle meets dealership presentation standards before delivery or display.
- Manage supplies, equipment, and workflow to keep the department running smoothly and cost-effectively.
- Coordinate with sales and service departments to prioritize reconditioning needs.
Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on experience in automotive detailing.
- Prior supervisory or management experience in a detail or reconditioning setting is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality finished work.
- Ability to organize schedules, lead a team, and manage competing priorities.
- Availability for a full-time, on-site role in Morgantown, Monongalia County.
