About the Role
As a Habilitative Support Professional based in Moncks Corner, Berkeley County, you will provide hands-on care and skill-building support at a residential or day program site. This is a part-time position scheduled for 27.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with overtime opportunities available. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. No prior experience is needed — paid training is provided so you can step into the role with the preparation you need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist individuals in developing and practicing everyday living and self-care skills
- Encourage participation in daily activities, routines, and program goals
- Promote each person's safety, dignity, independence, and overall well-being
- Support community engagement and skill-building during scheduled program hours
- Document progress and follow individualized support plans accurately
Qualifications
- No previous experience required — comprehensive paid training is provided
- Availability to work the set schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Completion of seven days of orientation (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM) before beginning at a residential or day program site
- A reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented approach to supporting others
