About the Role
This is a full-time, 13-week travel therapy assignment based on-site in Santa Clara, CA. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant / COTA with TGL Medstaff, you will deliver hands-on occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, working an 8-hour day shift. The contract is scheduled to begin on 05/25/2026 and run through 08/24/2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities that build daily living skills.
- Track patient progress and report observations to the clinical team.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with facility and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and their families on techniques that support recovery and independence.
Qualifications
- Active certification and licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) valid in California.
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
- Comfortable working an 8-hour day shift across the full 13-week contract.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered, collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to travel to and work on-site in Santa Clara, Santa Clara County.
Compensation
Estimated weekly pay ranges from $775 to $1,246. This estimate reflects the pay range over the last 36 months; exact pay and benefits may vary depending on factors such as guaranteed hours, travel distance, and assignment demand.
