About the Role
As a Roadshow Setup Crew Member at MDX Global, you'll be the backbone of our 10-day promotional roadshows in Van Nuys. The position centers on the physical preparation, assembly, and breakdown of event displays and equipment. This is a part-time, on-call role well suited to someone who enjoys active, practical work, brings sharp attention to detail, and can comfortably adjust to shifting schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and unload displays, signage, and equipment for roadshow events
- Assemble and arrange promotional displays and booth setups ahead of each event
- Carefully dismantle and pack away all equipment during teardown
- Follow setup specifications precisely to ensure each display is presented correctly
- Stay flexible and respond to on-call scheduling needs across the duration of each 10-day roadshow
Qualifications
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on labor, including lifting and moving equipment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job right
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and last-minute, on-call assignments
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a setup crew
- Available to work on-site in Van Nuys, Los Angeles County
