About the Role
As a Maintenance Worker - Facility Maintenance, you will serve as a key part of the District's labor workforce, providing support wherever extra hands are needed across all NTMWD systems. Working under direct supervision, you'll carry out a mix of semi-skilled and unskilled tasks, ranging from routine facility upkeep to repair and light construction projects. The Facility Maintenance group is responsible for the overall condition and care of District buildings and grounds, and this position plays a vital part in keeping those operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general facility maintenance, repairs, and basic construction tasks across NTMWD systems
- Provide additional labor support to other teams and systems whenever extra help is required
- Complete both semi-skilled and unskilled assignments as directed by supervisory staff
- Assist with the upkeep and care of District facilities, buildings, and surrounding grounds
