REFRIGERATED EXPRESS INC
Drive with one of the Gulf Coast's trusted refrigerated carriers as a Class A Company Driver, Regional, Refrigerated based out of Kenner, Jefferson Parish. REFRIGERATED EXPRESS INC is hiring solo W2 drivers who want steady regional miles and dependable weekly pay.
About the Role
This is a full-time, solo company driver position handling dedicated, less-than-truckload (LTL) refrigerated freight across a regional lane. You'll earn an average of $1,000 to $1,100 in total weekly pay while logging roughly 1,800 to 3,200 miles each week. Drivers are typically out 5 to 8 days at a time and receive 3 days of home time for every 8 days worked. Please note that weekends home are not guaranteed.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport temperature-controlled freight safely and on schedule along dedicated regional routes
- Operate as a solo company driver while maintaining DOT hours-of-service compliance
- Manage LTL deliveries with no driver load or unload required
- Maintain accurate trip and delivery documentation throughout each haul
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep equipment road-ready
Qualifications
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with a qualifying driving record
- Willingness to stay out an expected 5 to 8 days per run
- Comfortable operating refrigerated equipment on regional dedicated lanes
- Commitment to safe, reliable, on-time delivery
