About the Role
This is a solo, W2 company driver position running a flatbed trailer on regional lanes across the western 11 states. Based out of Vacaville, Solano County, the role offers consistent weekly mileage and a predictable schedule that keeps you close to home far more often than long-haul work allows.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a flatbed trailer safely and efficiently throughout the western 11-state region.
- Complete solo regional runs while maintaining compliance with all DOT and safety regulations.
- Average roughly 1,500 to 2,500 miles each week across assigned lanes.
- Keep equipment, paperwork, and delivery records accurate and up to date.
- Note: this position involves no driver load or unload duties and no tarping.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Ability to handle regional flatbed routes as a solo driver.
- Commitment to safe driving practices and on-time service.
- Willingness to be out on the road for the expected stretch of days per run.
Compensation & Home Time
- Total weekly average pay of approximately $900 to $1,100.
- Earn 2 days of home time for every 7 days worked.
- Home at least 2 weekends each month.
- Benefits include Medical and Dental coverage.
