About the Role
As a Contract Specialist, you will play a key part in shaping how ASM Research evaluates, negotiates, and manages agreements with government agencies and prime contractors. This on-site Carson City position blends careful analysis, documentation, and responsiveness to keep proposal and contract activities moving smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the analysis, negotiation, and ongoing administration of contracts and subcontracts.
- Investigate and verify specifications and supporting documentation needed to move requests through the process.
- Deliver prompt, well-organized responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) issued by government bodies and prime contractors.
- Compile and obtain the forms required for submissions, including representations and certifications, executive compensation disclosures, certificates of insurance (COI), and W-9s, along with related correspondence.
- Examine solicitations closely to confirm requirements are understood and met before action is taken.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to reviewing contract terms and documentation.
- Familiarity with government or federal contracting processes, RFP responses, and standard compliance forms.
- Excellent organization and the ability to meet tight submission deadlines with accuracy.
- Clear written communication for drafting correspondence and coordinating documentation.
- Comfort working on-site at the Carson Mall location in Carson City as part of a full-time team.
